DECOLONIZING MENTAL HEALTH PANEL
Everyone, especially QT folks, deserve access to affordable and personalized care for their mental, physical, and emotional selves. The ways in which we take care of ourselves and others looks different to everyone! We know the standardized forms of talk therapy and psychiatry are not one-size-fits-all. Hear from licensed and professional QTPOC therapists, counselors, and healers and practitioners about ideas and frameworks around non-anglo cishetero modes of therapy, self care, and wellness.
This event features a panel discussion and Q&A with:
Kendra Twenter, APCC, AMFT, queer, kink-positive sex educator. therapist, & group facilitator
Mae Petti (they/them), MSW, ASW, Mental Health Practitioner and Program Manager for Older Adult Programming
Cy Petrocelli, Peer Advocacy and Outreach Counselor with Community United Against Violence
Paris Faas (all pronouns), Program and Development Assistant with the Trans Advocacy & Care Team
Joyous Dawn Bey (they/she), Conflict Transformation Coach, Vocalist, Youth Arts Educator
This will be a seated panel event.
