ccp + ivy room present “BLENDERFEST” FRIDAY JUNE 7TH (a part of the ivy riot concert series) — PARADISE BLOSSOM CARDBOARD PEOPLE POCKET FULL OF CRUMBS & SPECIAL GUESTS — Doors 7:00pm / Show 8:00pm $20 Advance / $22 Day of Show — IVY ROOM 860 San Pablo Ave, Albany • 21+ IVY RIOT — IVY RIOT! will be a Queer focused, month long wellness and development program which includes but not limited to, LGBTQIA+ live music events, comedy shows, activist panels, job fairs and mental health support workshops. Ivy Room’s program will be held in and around the month of June 2024 in celebration of Pride. We wholeheartedly desire to be the hub for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Bay Area and strongly believe in the necessity of having a safe open space to belong to. For more information about the series and our calendar, please visit the series page. PARADISE BLOSSOM — Paradise Blossom is the duo of Fresno, Ca natives Thanh Nguyen and Steven Salazar, who produced all of their music in their bedrooms. Utilizing inspiration from cinema and their childhoods to create their dreamy coming of age style song. CARDBOARD PEOPLE — Cardboard People is a Bay Area alt-indie-soul-artpop band founded by singer Yunoka Berry and Berkeley-based producer Jim Greer (Galactic, Foster the People, Geographer), who came together during the pandemic as an outlet for their love of genre-bending in the structure of pop music. Since forming, the group has played all over the Bay Area and is rapidly gaining a buzz for their innovative sound and irresistible performances, landing slots at Hiero Day, Haight Street Music Festival, and many more, all while releasing one full length album, two EPS, and multiple singles. The band has collaborated with local legends Del The Funkee Homosapien and Domino from Hieroglyphics, Angelo Moore (Fishbone), and their sound runs the gamut from laid back indie-soul with tracks like “Devour" and “Lovecraft(Mind Games)” to hyped up bangers like the 80’s tinged "Faster and "Built Like A Barbie", as well as laying down powerful, gospel influenced tracks such as “And Still I Rise” and “Bondage”... Cardboard People are set to release a slew of singles leading up to album II for Fall 2024. POCKET FULL OF CRUMBS — Pocket Full of Crumbs is a 3 piece band based out of San Francisco. The current lineup of the group formed in 2022 with Liv Castagna, Mark Paiz and Siena LaMere. Started by Mark Paiz with solo albums, the full band has released one full length album in 2022 with a new LP coming out early June.
