A subscriber is a contact that is subscribed to either email or SMS marketing and has not bounced or suppressed. Cymbal does not charge for contacts that are unsubscribed. You can learn more about how subscribers are counted here.

Cymbal charges for every SMS segment received and sent within a given month. A SMS segment is either 70 characters or 160 characters depending on if special characters like emojis are included in the text message. You can learn more about text message pricing here.

Cymbal Ads is completely free for all customers on our Premium plan if you have an ads budget of $500 or less per month. Afterwards you will get charged based on a proportion of that month's ads spend.

Starter is our entry level plan. You still get unlimited emails and texts, however there are some limitations. Premium removes all limits on your account, gives you lower SMS pricing, and access to a Customer Success Manager.

Customers on our Starter plan can reach out on our support page and expect about 24-48 business hour response time. Premium plan customers can reach out to their Customer Success Manager at any time and expect a less than 24 business hour response time.

Cymbal is priced very competitively with other email and SMS marketing platforms. We also provide easy-to-use tools to reduce your bill by suppressing inactive contacts.
